Positioned on the forecourt of the Art Gallery of South Australia, LANDED is a new site specific sculptural work commissioned by Ian Strange for the 2014 Biennial of Australian Art.

Ian Strange is an Australian born visual artist. He is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.

For Gertrude Stein, Collecting Art Was A Family Affair_

Siblings Leo, Gertrude and Michael Stein grew up in the Bay Area and moved to Paris in the early 1900s. Leo (left) and Gertrude (center) shared a tiny apartment at 27 Rue de Fleurus, which they filled with avant-garde art. Just a few blocks away, Michael (right) and his wife, Sarah, did the same.

A reunion of art is taking place in Paris right now. Works that haven't been there together in almost a century are reunited once again. The art was collected by writer Gertrude Stein and her brothers starting in the early 1900s. The Steins bought paintings right out of the studios of young avant-garde artists — Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and others who would become masters as the 20th century progressed.

The Little People Project_

The 'Little People Project' by Slinkachu started in 2006. It involves the remodelling and painting of miniature model train set characters, which the artist then place, photograph and leave on the street. It is both a street art installation project and a photography project.

A Man Takes A Single Rake to The Beach. And When You Zoom Out And See It… Mind BLOWN_

If you live in San Francisco, California, then you may be lucky enough to come across the art of Andres Amador. He doesn’t paint or sculpt. He prefers a medium that is temporary but absolutely beautiful: a sandy beach at low tide. He uses a rake to create works of art that can be bigger than 100,000 sq. ft.

He spends hours creating these intricate masterpieces, knowing that the tide will soon come in and wash away his work forever.

For Andres, his art is “more about the process and less about the result.”

Ο Pawel Kuczynski γεννήθηκε το 1976 στο Στσέτσιν (ή αλλιώς Στετίνο)της Πολωνίας. Αποφοίτησε από την Ακαδημία Καλών Τεχνών του πανεπιστημίου του Πόζναν, με ειδίκευση στην γραφιστική, και την τελευταία δεκαετία καταπιάνεται με την σατυρική εικονογράφηση. Και το κάνει με τεράστια επιτυχία. Τα.. «βουβά» καυστικά, όσο και εύστοχα, σχέδια του Pawel δεν μπορούν παρά να σε κάνουν να σκεφτείς, ενώ το ιδιαίτερο του στυλ ζωγραφικής είναι πλέον αναγνωρίσιμο σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο. Έχει ως τώρα κερδίσει περισσότερα από εκατό βραβεία και διακρίσεις.
