Landed_

Positioned on the forecourt of the Art Gallery of South Australia, LANDED is a new site specific sculptural work commissioned by Ian Strange for the 2014 Biennial of Australian Art.

Ian Strange is an Australian born visual artist. He is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.

Το κτίριο αυτό σχεδιάστηκε για να φιλοξενήσει την έκθεση φωτογραφίας του Ondřej Kavan παρουσιάζοντάς την στο κοινό μέσα από τη μετακίνηση του σπιτιού σε διάφορα λιμάνια.

Ξύλο και laminate χρησιμοποιούνται τόσο στο εσωτερικό και εξωτερικό. Τα υλικά παραπέμπουν σε σκάφη. Οι κυματιστές γραμμές, που προσομοιώνουν τα κύματα της θάλασσας, επαναλαμβάνονται σε όλους τους χώρους, διευκολύνοντας την ένταξη του κτιρίου στο περιβάλλον του.

The Pierre_

Conceived as a bunker nestled into the rock, the Pierre celebrates the materiality of the site. From certain angles, the house almost fully disappears into nature.
